Presentations
Companies put together a presentation to sell things to their audience. A presentation discloses your qualifications as a photographer. Photographers do this by utilizing portfolios. As Tony Luna writes in Lifecycle of a Freelance Photography Job, “Your portfolio must be more than a box filled with pretty pictures.” Photography is an art, and art conveys a message, a feeling or provokes a thought. Be sure that your images in your portfolio are doing just that. When someone looks at a photograph of yours, make it seems as though they are looking through the view finder at this extraordinary subject matter. For example: picture a finely detailed flower curled up in a spirally swirl early in the morning, as if it is asleep and waiting to be awakened by the sun.
